Sketches and drawings from traveling around Virginia. I’ve been making a point more recently to bring my sketchbook with me on different trips. These are from some work-related events, the Science Museum of Virginia, a trip to the Yogaville Satchidananda Ashram, a park in Northern Va, a night out dancing and Reedy Creek in Forest Hill Park. The last two are another drawing of Reedy Creek, and a watercolor of a ship emerging from the fog. The watercolor was a draft of an idea for an online contest focusing on “A sense of place in VA”. The plan was to create something around ships traveling the James River but the contest fell through.
